Group tours consist of travellers who have booked the same itinerary on the same departure date. Minimum traveller requirements, where applicable, are listed on each tour page.

For group tours, your spot is confirmed once we receive your deposit.
For private tours, short stays, extensions or additional nights, confirmation typically takes 3–10 days depending on the destination and local holidays.
After confirmation, we will send an updated invoice showing your deposit. Please ensure your name matches your passport exactly. Forms can also be accessed on our website.

Before joining any of our tours, we encourage travellers to review the itinerary details and assess whether the daily activities suit their personal comfort and fitness level. Each tour page includes information on walking distances, pacing and any physically demanding elements to help you decide.

  • ATM withdrawals: Japan and China may charge international card fees. Check with your bank before traveling.
  • Mobile payments: Linking an international card may incur foreign transaction fees.
  • Cash declaration limits: Japan: over ¥1,000,000 must be declared. China: over CNY 20,000 must be declared.
