Travel FAQS
  • Japan: Apple Pay and Google Pay are gradually accepted in large stores and public transport, but cash is still essential in rural areas.
  • China: Alipay and WeChat Pay dominate daily transactions, from taxis to street food. Some international cards can now be linked to these apps, but check compatibility before your trip.

The cost difference is mainly due to differences in healthcare operation models, lower hospital operating costs and more competitive pricing for medical supplies in China. This enables us to provide high-quality medical services at a more cost-effective price compared to Australia, without compromising on medical standards or service quality.

All our partnered hospitals are formal medical institutions. The medications and medical devices they use are uniformly approved by China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), complying with national medical safety standards. Many of the medical supplies are sourced from well-known domestic and international manufacturers. For customers with specific requirements for imported products, we can assist in communicating with the hospital to meet your needs as much as possible.

  • Carry a mix of cash, cards, and mobile payment options.
  • Register your cards with your bank to avoid fraud alerts.
  • Download Alipay or WeChat Pay if visiting China and link your card.
  • Always check exchange rates and fees before converting large sums of money.
  • Japan: No mandatory vaccines for most travelers, but routine vaccinations (like influenza and tetanus) are recommended. Consult your doctor before traveling.
  • China: Routine vaccinations are recommended. Some regions may require additional vaccines (hepatitis A, typhoid). Check official sources or your healthcare provider for updated guidance.

Our service does not end when you leave China. We will provide you with detailed medical reports in both Chinese and English, summarizing your diagnosis, treatment process and follow-up recommendations. After you return to Australia, our team will continue to provide remote support throughout your recovery period—we will answer any questions you may have about your treatment or recovery, and assist you with relevant health management matters as needed.

The recovery period varies depending on the type and complexity of the surgery. Your treating physicians from our partnered hospitals will provide you with a clear, personalized post-operative recovery plan, including guidance on rest, medication and rehabilitation exercises. If needed, we can arrange an extended stay in rehabilitation-friendly destinations such as Guilin, and assist in booking professional physiotherapy and wellness services to support your recovery process.

You will need to prepare the following documents: a valid passport and visa, previous medical records (including diagnosis reports, examination results and imaging data), which are preferably translated into English or Chinese, and a copy of your travel insurance policy. Our team will send you a detailed document checklist via email well before your departure date.
