Guangren TempleLocated in the northwest corner of Xi’an’s ancient Ming Dynasty city wall, Guangren Temple, also known as Lama Temple, is the only Tibetan Buddhism Gelug Sect temple in Shaanxi Province and the only main Taoist site of Green Tara in China. Founded in 1705 by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty with his own funds during his western inspection tour, this temple with a history of over 300 years is not only a sacred place for religious belief, but also a living witness to the exchange and integration of Han, Tibetan, Mongolian and Manchu cultures, known as the "Snow Lotus in Han Land" for its pure and noble charm in the ancient capital.

Muslim Quarter
The Muslim Quarter, also known as Fangshang, is a food and culture district located in Beiyuanmen Street, Lianhu District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It consists of streets such as Beiyuanmen, Beiguangji Street, Xiyangshi, Dapiyuan, Huajuexiang, and Sajinqiao. This area formed a Hui ethnic settlement from the late Northern Song Dynasty to the early Southern Song Dynasty, and developed into a traditional commercial activity area during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, named after the long-term settlement of Hui residents. In 1992, it was renovated into a bluestone pavement and a block imitating Ming and Qing architecture. In 1993, an antique cultural tourism street was built.
There are currently 10 mosques in the block, including the Huajue Lane Mosque. The architecture blends traditional Chinese and Islamic styles, reflecting the integration of multi-ethnic cultures and traces of ancient commercial exchanges. As a Muslim food gathering place in northwest China, it gathers featured snacks such as beef and mutton steamed buns, cured beef and mutton, and Jinggao, among which beef and mutton steamed buns are featured by manual breaking and old soup cooking.

Xi'an City God Temple (Du Cheng Huang Miao)Located on West Street, the heart of Xi’an’s ancient city, Xi’an City God Temple (Du Cheng Huang Miao) was first built in 1387 during the Ming Dynasty and moved to its current location in 1432. Yongxingfang
Yongxing Fang gathers over 800 kinds of characteristic delicacies from 11 cities and 107 counties across Shaanxi. Must-tries include Liangpi (cold rice noodles), Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), Yangrou Paomo (lamb stew with flatbread), Zichang Pancake and the iconic Youpo Noodles. Every food stall here has its own story, with many recipes passed down through generations and listed as ICH items. No need to travel around the whole province—you can taste the best of Shaanxi in one place.
The block features non-stop traditional folk shows. Don’t miss Huayin Shadow Puppetry, Qin Opera, Huayin Laoqiang (a powerful folk opera style), puppet shows and Shaanxi Kuaiban (clapper talk).
